Crude oil prices have risen again in the global market after the new US military strike on Iran. Reuters reported that Brent crude oil prices rose 1 percent in a day to $78.80 per barrel.
\nBrent crude oil prices rose 78 cents, or 1 percent, to $78.80 per barrel on Thursday (July 9). At the same time, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil prices rose 74 cents, or 1.01 percent, to $74.26 per barrel.
\nEarlier, after the market closed on Wednesday, both Brent and WTI crude oil prices rose more than a dollar after the US military launched a new attack on Iran. Earlier, both indices closed at their highest levels in more than two weeks at the end of the day’s trading. The volatile situation in fuel prices has also affected the US stock market.
