Hojjato\u2019l-Islam Wal-Muslimin Gholamhossein Mohseni Ajei has been reappointed as Chief Justice of Iran. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei has appointed him as the head of the country\u2019s judiciary.
\nThis information was reported in a report by Iran\u2019s Mehr news agency. In a decree issued on Sunday (July 5), Ajei was reappointed for a new term under Article 157 of the constitution.
\nIn the decree, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed gratitude for Ajei\u2019s performance as head of the judiciary. At the same time, he also recalled the implementation of the judiciary development plan emphasized by the Supreme Leader and himself.
\nHe expressed hope that the Iranian people will receive better judicial services with the joint and strong efforts of the head of the judiciary, judicial officials and judges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
