\nThe news regarding Shaon’s ID was shared on social media by her friend and writer Tamanna Sethu. She said that Shaon’s ID has been suspended from Facebook. Sethu wrote on Facebook, ‘Friend Meher Afroz Shaon’s Facebook account has been suspended due to multiple complaints. Earlier, he did not delete the post that created discussion around him.’
\nTamanna Sethu also mentioned in her post that Shaon gave this information. Meanwhile, a case has been filed against Shaon and six others at Shahbagh Police Station in the capital for making misleading and objectionable comments on social media and the media regarding the July mass uprising.
