A pickup driver was killed in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a pickup van in Kalukhali, Rajbari. The accident occurred at around 12:30 pm today, Wednesday (July 1), in the Khagjana area of \u200b\u200bthe Rajbari-Kushtia regional highway.
\nLocals said that a pickup van going from Pangsha to Daulatdia collided head-on with a passenger bus of Chowdhury Deluxe Paribahan going from Rajbari to Kushtia. As a result, the pickup was twisted and the driver died on the spot. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and with the help of locals, recovered the body and took it to the Kalukhali Upazila Health Complex.
\nKalukhali Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Israt Jahan Ummon said that the doctor on duty declared him dead after taking him to the hospital. Pangsha Highway Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Sajjat \u200b\u200bconfirmed the accident and said that the identity of the deceased driver is not yet known.
