\nThe Portuguese football team has come under fire for their lacklustre performance in the Colombia match. The country’s traditional newspaper ‘A Bola’ even named Ronaldo as the worst player on the pitch. They gave the star a rating of 4 out of 10 based on his individual performance.
\nThe report said Ronaldo’s shots were not very dangerous and he failed to capitalise on a big chance he had against Colombia goalkeeper Camilo Vargas. However, the attack was later ruled out for offside. Ronaldo played the full 90 minutes of the match. This was the second time in the tournament that Ronaldo has performed worse than expected.
\nCR7’s performance was also poor in the 1-1 draw against DR Congo in the first match. His best performance was against Uzbekistan, where he scored two goals.
