A farmer named Nazmul Hossain (25) was killed in a lightning strike in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga. The incident took place on Thursday (June 25) afternoon while he was cultivating land with a power tiller in the Rudranagar area of \u200b\u200bthe upazila. The deceased Nazmul Hossain is the son of Jasim Uddin of Rudranagar village of the upazila.
\nLocals said that Nazmul Hossain was cultivating land with a power tiller in the land next to his house this afternoon. At that time, he was seriously injured in a sudden lightning strike. He died on the spot. Later, the matter was reported to the police.
