US President Donald Trump has warned that if Iran does not comply with the agreement made with Washington, then he will take necessary action. Trump said this while talking to reporters.
\nDonald Trump said, \u2018If Iran does not fulfill the terms of their agreement, or if they do not behave properly, then I will do whatever is necessary.\u2019
\nMeanwhile, Trump claimed that the money released for Iran was supposed to be used only to buy food from the United States. However, Iran\u2019s semi-official Tasnim news agency quoted the governor of the country\u2019s central bank, Abdolnaser Hemmati, as saying that Tehran has no obligation to buy agricultural products or agricultural inputs from the United States under the current memorandum of understanding.
\nTrump also said, \u2018All the money released will ultimately come back to buy food, which they need very much. They have 91 million people, but they cannot meet their own food needs. So the money we are giving away will ultimately go back to our farmers.\u2019
\nMeanwhile, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker and chief negotiator of the Iranian parliament, said that the administration and control of the Strait of Hormuz will remain in Iran\u2019s hands. He made the remarks after returning home after talks with the United States and Israel on ending the ongoing conflict.
