High-level delegations from the US and Iran are meeting in Switzerland today (June 21) with the aim of permanently ending the long-standing conflict in the Middle East and signing a final peace agreement. US Vice President JD Vance has left Washington for Switzerland to participate in this huge meeting. \nThese special technical and political talks are going to be held at the B\u00fcrgenstock resort near Lausanne, Switzerland, under the direct mediation of Qatar and Pakistan. This action plan for the next 60 days has been prepared on the basis of the historic 14-point draft memorandum of understanding signed between Washington and Tehran last Wednesday (June 17), the main goal of which is to ensure a permanent ceasefire and long-term agreement in the region.
