Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said a memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran could be signed in the next few days. He made the comments in an interview with Iranian state television on Friday (June 13).
\n\u201cThe possibility of concluding an agreement with the US has never been so close before,\u201d Araghchi said. \u201cOnce the memorandum of understanding is finalized, both sides will sign it digitally from their respective countries. It will be officially announced later.\u201d
\nAraghchi said the proposed memorandum of understanding includes a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. \u201cNo nuclear talks will begin until the interim agreement is implemented.
