Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee has called a meeting of India Alliance in the first week of June to further intensify the political fight against BJP across the country. She confirmed this information on social media yesterday (May 24). In a live address, Mamata said that the main goal now is to bring the opposition forces on one platform and outline a larger movement against the central government.
\nShe said that discussions are underway with the allied parties of India Alliance. In addition, various other anti-BJP political forces will also be contacted. According to her, a united movement of the opposition is needed to expose the BJP and this meeting has been organized with that aim. Although there is an atmosphere of pressure and discomfort within the Trinamool after the political upsurge in Bengal, Mamata has given a clear message that the main fight now is against the BJP. She also said that the Trinamool is not worried about those who want to leave the party during the party’s difficult times. Rather, a new fight will be built with ideologically strong workers.
\nAccording to political circles, Mamata Banerjee is trying to revive opposition politics at the national level in the current situation. She wants to revive the Bharatiya Alliance to keep the anti-BJP vote united and to build a movement against various policies of the central government. However, political debate has also started surrounding this initiative.
\nThe BJP claims that differences have now arisen among the opposition alliance partners. In particular, various questions are being raised about the relationship between the Congress and the Trinamool. Although the Trinamool leadership is claiming that it is necessary to build greater unity in the interest of fighting the BJP. According to political analysts, this June meeting is not only an organizational meeting, it can also clarify the course of national politics in the future.
