\nIn the meantime, a screenshot has recently been widely circulated on social media, claiming that US President Donald Trump has made a post about the viral ‘Donald Trump’ buffalo in Bangladesh from his Truth Social account.
\nThe post read, ‘There is a buffalo named after him in Bangladesh, the buffalo’s fur is great, maybe even better.’ But fact-checking company RumorScanner verified and reported that the post is completely fake.
\nThe Indian Facebook page ‘Prothom Kolkata’ shared this fake screenshot, which sparked widespread discussion. The page’s post claims that Trump himself praised the buffalo and congratulated Bangladesh. The post has received thousands of likes and shares. However, it is fake, because Trump did not post it. There is no such post on his \u2018Truth Social\u2019.
\nIt is worth noting that before Eid-ul-Azha, a special breed of buffalo named \u2018Donald Trump\u2019 really went viral in Bangladesh and was reported on in international media including Reuters.
