Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed said that a chargesheet will be filed in court today in the rape and murder of child Ramisa in Mirpur in the capital. He said that a special court will be formed during the Eid holidays and the trial will be completed within 5 to 7 days. He said this at the BSRF dialogue at the Secretariat today, Sunday (May 24).
\nThe Home Minister said that the accused gave a confessional statement in the court within a day. His wife’s name also appeared in that statement as his accomplice. Besides, he has also been arrested. He further said that we received the autopsy report yesterday. The work of compiling these and preparing the chargesheet will be completed by tomorrow night. It will be handed over to the court today.
