People have started leaving the capital to share the joy of Eid with their families and loved ones. On the second day of the Eid journey, today, Sunday (May 24), a crowd of passengers has been seen at Kamalapur railway station since morning. However, this time there is not as much crowd or chaos as usual. Many are returning home early to avoid suffering before the start of the government holiday.
\nAt least 6 trains have already left for various destinations in the country since morning. Most of the trains are running close to the scheduled time. Passengers say they have left for home safely. Special security measures have been taken to complete the Eid journey smoothly. Law enforcement officers have been deployed on each platform of the station. Surveillance has been increased for the safety of passengers, including stopping travel on the roof.
\nMeanwhile, Railway Minister Sheikh Rabiul Alam has said that 5 pairs of special trains, i.e. additional 10 trains, will run from tomorrow. I hope this will make the journey of passengers more comfortable and smooth. He added, “I rode two trains today and observed the overall situation. The overall management seems to be good. However, since morning, three trains have left slightly late. One of them left about 30 minutes late and the other about an hour late.
