The police have sought a 10-day remand of Sohel Rana, the main accused arrested in the child Ramisa murder case in Pallabi, Mirpur, in the capital. Pallabi police presented him in court today (May 20) and applied for remand. Earlier, Sohel Rana was arrested from Fatulla area of \u200b\u200bNarayanganj on Tuesday night.
\nPolice said that Sohel Rana had been hiding since the incident. He was arrested after identifying his location through information technology and intelligence surveillance. Earlier, the police arrested his wife Swapna from the scene and started questioning her. Earlier, the murder took place at a house in B-block of section 11 of Pallabi around 9 am yesterday. The deceased Ramisa is the daughter of local resident Abdul Hannan Mollah.
\nPolice and local sources said that Sohel Rana was a tenant of the flat next door. The reason for the murder of the child is being investigated.
