A youth named Jewel (45) was hacked to death by assailants over a dispute over dominance in Narayanganj port. The incident took place on Tuesday (May 19) morning in Shantinagar area of \u200b\u200bBandar upazila. Jewel is the son of Tajul Islam of Shantinagar area of \u200b\u200bBandar upazila.
\nIt is learnt that Jewel had an argument with some local youths during a drive by Shantinagar upazila police on Monday (May 18) night. As a result, opposing terrorists attacked Jewel’s office and vandalized it this morning. At that time, they hacked Jewel and left him injured.
\nOfficer-in-Charge (OC) of Bandar Police Station Golam Muktar Ashraf Uddin said that a youth named Jewel was killed over a dispute over dominance.
