This information was reported by Qatar-based media Al Jazeera in a report today (May 11). \nModi’s call comes at a time when fuel prices are fluctuating in the global market. This is because the Iranian authorities have closed the Strait of Hormuz, which has put pressure on energy supplies. About 90 percent of India’s LNG imports are through this sea route.
\nIn this situation, Modi has once again said that ‘work from home’ should be introduced. He also suggested cutting unnecessary ‘expenses’. The Indian Prime Minister has called for savings in the food sector and has asked to reduce the use of edible oil.
