Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has instructed the police to consider criminals in cases of corruption or terrorism as criminals, not by political affiliation. He called the police the protectors of the law, not any individual or group.
\nHe said this in a directive speech given at the Prime Minister’s Office on the occasion of Police Week on Monday (May 11) morning. Tarique Rahman said that the government wants to ensure democratic political rights. Besides, it is also important to ensure that no one is involved in communal and subversive activities. The government will implement the July Charter to the letter; no one has any reason to doubt or doubt about this.
\nAt the same time, the Prime Minister expressed her firm determination to build a prosperous, self-reliant, democratic, safe and humane Bangladesh. She said that the government wants to solve the problems of the police, but the debt burden has increased in the last few days due to unnecessary expenses. She urged the police to save money in various areas.
\nHe said his government is working to bring the people under the security belt with the aim of making them self-reliant. However, he alleged that the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant was built at four times the cost. The burden of that debt has fallen on the people. Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed was also present at the Police Week program.
