\nThe forecast given for the country’s inland river ports until 1 pm today said that rain or thunderstorms with gusts or squally winds from the west or northwest at a speed of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour may occur temporarily in the regions of Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet. For this reason, river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1. Meanwhile, in the nationwide forecast released on Wednesday night, the Meteorological Department said that light to moderate rain or thunderstorm with temporary gusty wind or squalls and thundershowers may occur in many places in Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet divisions and some places in Rangpur and Chittagong divisions by 6 pm today.
