Authorities in Iran’s northern Mazandaran province have arrested dozens of people suspected of being involved in foreign intelligence services, the semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported. Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency said intelligence agencies had conducted raids across the province and identified the suspects.
\nThey were accused of collecting information from important and sensitive installations and carrying out sabotage activities. Authorities claimed that firearms, sharp weapons and telecommunications equipment were seized from them during their arrests.
\nIt was also reported that 20 satellite internet receivers were also seized, which were allegedly used to send information to foreign intelligence agencies.
