They demanded everything they could not achieve in the war. Iran has clearly said a big ‘no’. The talks are over. The corridor is still closed. And the vice president is returning empty-handed. Once again, only Iran is left. They have no way to save face.

The US sat in the meeting to save face after being defeated on the battlefield. It wanted to get what it could not achieve by attacking the negotiating table.
