The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has warned of the possibility of Kalbaisakhi storm and hail in five divisions of the country. In a warning issued today, Thursday (April 9), it said that Kalbaisakhi storm with gusty winds from the west or northwest may blow in various areas of Dhaka division, Khulna division, Barisal division, Chittagong division and Sylhet division from 8 am in the next 12 hours. At this time, the wind speed may be 60 to 80 kilometers per hour or more.
\nThe Meteorological Department also said that this storm may be accompanied by lightning and hail in some places. However, there is no danger of heat wave anywhere in the country today. The day temperature may decrease by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country and the night temperature may also decrease slightly. On the other hand, the temperature may start increasing again from tomorrow, Friday.
