EPZ NASA Group workers have blocked the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in Comilla demanding payment of outstanding dues. They took up their position at the Paduar Bazar area of \u200b\u200bthe highway as part of a pre-announced program at 10 am today, Tuesday (April 7).
\nEarlier, the workers had gathered on the highway with a protest procession from the EPZ area. Later, when they took up positions on the road and started blocking, traffic movement was stopped on both lanes of the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway.
\nDue to this blockade, long traffic jams were created on both sides of the highway. Passengers and transport drivers suffered greatly. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and are trying to bring the situation under control by talking to the workers. However, till the time of writing this report, the workers are continuing their agitation by taking up positions on the road.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
