4,880 liters of illegal diesel have been seized in a special joint operation by the district administration, BGB and police in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj. Based on a secret information, the operation was carried out at a house on S O Bus Stand Road adjacent to Meghna Depot in Godnail area around midnight on Tuesday (March 31).
\nA huge quantity of fuel oil was recovered in the operation and a person named Nasir (50) was arrested. When the arrested person was immediately produced before the mobile court, the court’s Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner Rashed Khan sentenced him to one month in prison and a fine of Tk 3,000.
