A meeting was held on the first day between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt to end the Middle East war. The foreign ministers of these four countries met in the Pakistani capital Islamabad on Sunday (March 29).
\nThe issue of reopening the Strait of Hormuz was of particular importance in the discussions. After the meeting, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that they discussed possible ways to end the ongoing war quickly and permanently.
\nThey also discussed possible US-Iran talks in Islamabad. Before this quadrilateral meeting, Dar also exchanged views with the foreign ministers of the three countries separately.
