The Directorate General of Health Services is conducting raids on private hospitals in the capital. This surveillance operation began at Muktijoddha Tower in the capital’s Mohammadpur area at 10 am today, Tuesday (March 24). The officials concerned said that action will be taken against the hospital authorities as various irregularities were found in the operation.
\nNo doctor was found on duty at TG Hospital in the morning. Even the patients’ prescriptions did not have the doctor’s signature. However, 4 children are admitted in the hospital’s NICU, where the presence of a specialist doctor is mandatory.
\nIt has been alleged that these patients were brought from government hospitals through brokers. In addition, the affected patients have expressed anger over the collection of additional bills and various mismanagement.
