News of attacks on Israel are emerging after Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched its 78th round of retaliatory missile attacks. A cluster bomb hit a house in the city of Haifa after an Iranian missile attack on northern Israel on Tuesday morning (March 24). The missile debris was reported to have fallen in various parts of northern Israel.
\nThe IRGC said in a statement after the new attack that it had again fired Qadr missiles equipped with cluster bombs at Israel.
\nIsrael’s emergency services agency Magen David Adom said there were no reports of casualties so far in the incident. However, it treated a 30-year-old man who was injured after stepping on missile debris. A woman was also injured while trying to reach safety and several others were treated for panic. Another night of terror in Israel.
\nEarlier in the day, a missile hit central Israel, but it landed in an open area, causing no damage. The Israeli military had detected it and issued a warning, causing sirens to sound in Tel Aviv and parts of the occupied West Bank.
\nThe latest incident was part of a series of missile attacks that lasted from Monday evening (March 23) until this morning. The attacks targeted a wide area of \u200b\u200bcentral and northern Israel, prompting warnings in Jerusalem, Haifa, Tel Aviv and the western Galilee. At least one of the missiles is believed to have been carrying a cluster warhead, which fires several small bombs. Damage was reported in the port city of Haifa.
\nWidespread alert issued
\nEarlier, the Israeli military said on its Telegram channel that Israel’s air defenses had been activated after receiving signals of new missiles coming from Iran.
\nThe military also said that in the past few minutes, the Home Front Command has sent direct warning instructions to mobile phones in the affected areas. The public is asked to immediately enter safe shelters and remain there until further notice.<\/p>\n
