Turkey has launched a new drone amid repeated Iranian attacks in response to US and Israeli aggression. The country\u2019s drone manufacturer Bayer on Saturday (March 14) unveiled a kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) called the K2. The company said the drone uses artificial intelligence (AI)-based flight and targeting technology.
\nAccording to Bayer, the K2 can fly autonomously in swarms and is capable of navigating, identifying targets and conducting attacks through an AI-assisted visual system. The drone has a range of more than 2,000 kilometers. It can carry a 200 kg warhead and has a maximum takeoff weight of about 800 kg.
\nThe company also said the drone can take off from small or unplanned runways. It is designed for repeated use in multiple missions. A promotional video was released at the unveiling of the new drone, showing the drone taking off, flying in a group, and demonstrating coordinated tactical maneuvers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
