The US military has identified six soldiers killed in a plane crash in Iraq. The Pentagon said six crew members were killed when a military refueling plane crashed in western Iraq earlier this week. Authorities said the crash was not caused by “hostile fire.”
\nThe six US soldiers killed were John Kleiner (33) of Auburn, Alabama; Ariana Savino (31) of Covington, Washington; Ashley Pruitt (34) of Bardstown, Kentucky; Seth Koval (38) of Mooresville, Indiana; Curtis Angst (30) of Wilmington, Ohio; and Tyler Simmons (28) of Columbus, Ohio.
\nThe first three were members of the US Air Force. The other three were members of the US Air National Guard. Pentagon officials said the cause of the crash was still under investigation.
