The District Detective Branch (DB) has arrested a youth with fake money making equipment and a huge amount of fake notes in Ramu, Cox’s Bazar. He was arrested during a raid on a rented house in Madhyam Merangloa Amtaliapara area of \u200b\u200bFatekharkul Union of the upazila around 1:30 pm on Friday (March 6).
\nThe arrested Md. Imran (23) is known to be the son of Lutfar Rahman of Kholadanga area of \u200b\u200bJessore Sadar Upazila.
\nPolice said that based on a secret tip-off that fake money was being made on rent, a team of the District Detective Branch conducted a raid on the house of local resident Babul Barua. During the raid, about five lakh fake takas along with one thousand and five hundred taka notes and various equipment for making fake money were seized from the house. Later, the arrested person was taken to the DB office for questioning.
