Not even 10 days after the rape and murder of a teenager in Madhavadi, Narsingdi, a mother of four children was gang-raped. After the victim filed a complaint in this incident on Friday morning (March 6), Madhavadi police station conducted a raid in the evening and arrested a man named Hridoy.
\nPolice said that the victim had gone to Madhavadi market last Thursday afternoon to do Eid shopping. Hridoy stopped her on her way home around 8:30 pm after shopping. Later, he threatened her and took her to a secluded place. Three more people were already waiting there. The woman was gang-raped there. After the incident, the victim informed the family in detail and filed a written complaint with Madhavadi police station.
\nMadhavadi police station OC Kamal Hossain said that a case has been filed. A person named Hridoy involved in the incident has been arrested. The OC also said that the police operation is continuing to arrest the other accused.
