Gold prices have risen again in the country’s market. The price of good quality (22 carat) gold has increased by 5,424 taka per bhori and stands at 2,74,104 taka. This has come into effect from 10 am today, Monday (March 2). The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) gave this information in a press release today. The organization said that the price has been increased in the local market due to the increase in the price of pure gold.
\nBAJUS said that the price of 22 carat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) in the country’s market will be 2,74,104 taka. In addition, the price of 21 carat gold per bhori has been fixed at 2,66,464 taka, the price of 18 carat gold per bhori at 2,24,267 taka and the price of traditional gold per bhori at 1,83,539 taka.
\nEarlier, BAJUS last adjusted the price of gold in the country’s market on the morning of February 28. At that time, the company increased the price of a 22-carat gold bhori by Rs 4,374 to Rs 2,65,414. In addition, the price of 21-carat gold per bhori was fixed at Rs 2,53,342, per 18-carat gold at Rs 2,17,125 and per 177,701. Which came into effect from 10:30 am on that day.
