An Iranian ballistic missile has hit the Israeli-occupied Palestinian city of Jerusalem, Al Jazeera reported. According to a report published on Monday (March 2), one of the new missiles launched by Iran hit Jerusalem directly.
\nA journalist from the scene said that warning sirens sounded before the attack in West Jerusalem. A missile hit there shortly after. Israel occupied East Jerusalem after the Six-Day Arab-Israeli War in 1967. Although the Palestinians own the holy land, all administrative power in Jerusalem is currently in the hands of the Israelis.
