Because they are under a lot of pressure.’ Trump also claimed that ‘the level of Iranian retaliation on the US base was less than expected.’ In his words, ‘We thought it would be twice as much.’ The US president’s statement has sparked renewed tension and discussion in the international arena.
\nIt is worth noting that Iran has suffered heavy losses in the US and Israeli attacks that began on Saturday (February 28). Iranian media confirmed that the country’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the attack. On Sunday (March 1), the country’s semi-official news agency Tasnim and Fars News Agency confirmed the death.
