Rogue, extortionist and terrorist teenage gangs have become reckless again in Basila, Adabor and Beribandh areas of the capital. On Saturday night (February 21), an embroidery factory called Abir Fashion was attacked in Adabor to demand Eid extortion. At least three people were injured in this. In protest, local embroidery owners and workers surrounded Adabor police station and staged a protest. In the meantime, the police have arrested some people involved in the incident, including the accused Kala Russell.
\nCCTV camera footage from the intersection of three roads in Basila, Mohammadpur shows a pedestrian being robbed in broad daylight. At one point in the clash, members of the teenage gang attacked him with sharp weapons. The injured pedestrian somehow managed to escape to save his life. The complaint is against the killer Badal group, who has become a terror in the area.
\nSame day, same area. The shop’s CCTV camera clearly captured the threat to close all the shops in the entire market if the ransom was not paid. The name of the killer Badal group is mentioned here too. In this way, people of Mohammadpur, Adabor, Dhaka Udyan, Basila City Housing and surrounding areas are suffering from various crimes including robbery, extortion and other misdeeds in the name of various gangs.
\nLast night, members of the Kala Russel group from the Adabor area demanded ransom at the factory of embroidery businessman Mostafizur Rahman on the occasion of Eid. When the ransom was not received, members of the teenage gang attacked the employees with sharp weapons. Several people were injured in this.
\nFed up with the violence, the businessmen and employees detained Kala Russel’s father. Later, they gathered in front of the Adabor police station demanding the arrest of the terrorists and their safety. When traffic on the road in front of the police station was stopped, members of the Sona Bahini took control of the situation. A case has been filed in this incident. Police said that patrols and guards have been strengthened at various places to suppress the local teenage gangs and extortionists.
\nMohammadpur Zone Assistant Police Commissioner Abdullah Al Mamun said, “We have mobile patrol teams in every area.
