A massive explosion at a fireworks shop in China’s Hubei province has killed 12 people. Several others were injured.
\nThe accident occurred at 2:30 pm local time on Wednesday (February 18) at a market in the city of Xiangyang. The fire also burned down several nearby shops. The fire was brought under control within an hour. The cause of the explosion is not yet known. However, an investigation is underway.
