Election Commission (EC) Secretariat Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed said that ballots have reached all 299 seats of the 13th National Parliament elections. He said this at the inauguration of the media center for foreign media personnel focusing on the elections at a hotel in the capital on Tuesday (February 10).
\n\u201cSince assuming responsibility, the Election Commission has been working for a fair election. It has not been possible to publish a 100% accurate voter list. And the registration of new political parties was a challenge,\u201d Akhtar Ahmed said. \u201cAll ballots have reached 299 seats. All preparations for voting have been completed. The notification to go to polling stations with mobile phones will be withdrawn today. The counting of postal ballots in the vote counting process is time-consuming, but there will be no unnecessary delay under any circumstances.\u201d
\nHe also said, \u201cJournalists from 115 countries have expressed interest in collecting news from the elections. Of these, observers from 21 countries have come to observe.\u201d It is worth noting that elections will be held in 299 out of 300 seats in the 13th National Parliament election next Thursday (February 12).
