At least 12 people were injured in a series of clashes between BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and activists in Shariatpur over Facebook status. The incident took place in the Bhojeshwar area of \u200b\u200bNaria upazila on Tuesday (January 27) afternoon.
\nAccording to local sources, a verbal clash broke out between BNP and Jamaat leaders and activists in the Bhojeshwar area yesterday afternoon over posts in favor and against the referendum on Facebook. At one point, both sides clashed with sticks. At least 12 people were injured in the incident. Later, after receiving information, the police and the army quickly reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
