\nIn a Facebook post, Arijit Singh expressed his gratitude to the audience. He wrote, \u2018Happy New Year everyone. Thank you all for the love you have given me over the years. I am happy to announce that from now on I will not be taking up any new playback work. I am ending it here. It has been a great journey.\u2019
\nThe announcement has left fans in a state of shock. For a long time, Arijit Singh was the most reliable voice in Hindi film songs. Till the end of 2025, he regularly lent his voice to Hindi and regional film songs. From romantic and emotional songs to item songs, his presence was noticeable everywhere.
\nArijit Singh has given numerous popular songs. These include ‘Tum Hi Ho’, ‘Channa Mereya’, ‘Raabta’, ‘Agar Tum Saath Ho’, ‘Kesaria’, ‘Shayad’, ‘Phir Le Aaya Dil’ and ‘Aye Dil Hai Mushkil’.
