A woman named Pata Rani (26) died in a head-on collision between an auto-rickshaw and a truck in Jaldhaka, Nilphamari. Two others were injured during the incident. The accident occurred at 6 am today, Wednesday (January 21) at Dundibari Chowkidar intersection in the municipal area. The deceased Pata Rani is the wife of Nipendra Nath of Bhogamaari area of \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bKanthali union of the upazila.
\nWitnesses and police said that when she was returning to work from her home by auto-rickshaw, she came to Dundibari Chowkidar intersection as usual and collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction. At that time, Pata Rani fell from the auto-rickshaw on the road and died on the spot after being crushed by the wheels of the truck. Her colleague Diti Rani and van driver Bakram Roy were seriously injured in the incident.
