The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a suspected hotel worker Milon in the murder of schoolgirl Fatema Akter Lilly (17) in Banasree in the capital. This information was given by the RAB headquarters in a message on Monday (January 12) morning.
\nIt is learned that Milon was arrested in a joint operation by RAB-3 and RAB-6 in the Bagerhat Sadar Police Station area. Earlier, the girl was killed by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon on January 10. The deceased Lilly was a class 10 student of the local Radiant School.
\nThe deceased’s elder sister Shobha said that on January 10, she left home for the gym at around 1:30 pm. When she returned home, she found her younger sister Lilly lying curled up.
