The hearing of former Law Minister Anisul Haque and Salman F. Rahman in the genocide case in July after the imposition of curfew will be held today. Their lawyers will participate in the hearing in the judicial panel of the International Crimes Tribunal-1 today, Tuesday (January 6).
\nEarlier, the state party requested to start the trial after completing the hearing of the charge sheet of the case. The charges state that Anisul Haque and Salman F. Rahman played a role in putting pressure on the then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the murders that took place after the imposition of curfew in July. In addition, a total of five specific charges have been brought against them, including the charge of inciting the murders by meeting with businessmen at Ganobhaban.
\nMeanwhile, the International Crimes Tribunal-2 will take testimony against JSD leader Hasanul Haque Inu today in the case of crimes against humanity, including the killing of six people in Kushtia.
