A daily wage worker named Harun (50) died after being run over by a train in Comilla Sadar South. The accident occurred at Bijoypur Uttar Bazar in the upazila around 10 am today, Wednesday (December 24). The deceased Harun is a resident of Chargram in Noakhali and according to locals, he had come to Bijoypur Bazar after work.
\nLaksam Railway Police Station OC Jasim Uddin told us, “We have received information that a daily wage worker died after being run over by a train on the Bijoypur Bazar railway line this morning.” The in-charge of the Comilla Railway Outpost has been sent to the spot.
