Two people have been arrested with firearms in a joint operation by the district detectives and Banshkhali police station in Banshkhali, Chittagong, ahead of the elections.
\nA mini-truck was searched at 2 am today, Sunday (14 December) at a check post in front of the Diabetic Hospital of Banshkhali Municipality. During the search, a domestic LG was recovered from inside the truck and two people were arrested along with the mini-truck. The arrested Ahmed Mustafa (26) and Anik Kanti De (24) both live in the Hoanok area of \u200b\u200bMaheshkhali in Cox’s Bazar district.
\nBanshkhali police station OC Khaled Saifullah told us that a case has been filed against the arrested accused at Banshkhali police station under the Arms Act.
