Iran has seized an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman. The tanker was carrying 18 sailors from India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Iranian media reported that the ship was seized between the night of Friday (December 12) and Saturday (December 13).
\nMeanwhile, Fars News Agency reported, citing an official in the southern province of Hormozgan, that an oil tanker carrying six million liters of smuggled diesel was raided near the coast of the Sea of \u200b\u200bOman. It was also claimed that the ship had shut down all its navigation systems. Earlier, Iranian forces have regularly announced the seizure of ships on charges of illegally transporting fuel in the Gulf.
