The Florida administration has declared the much-discussed US Muslim rights organization ‘The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) a terrorist organization.
\nOn Tuesday (December 9), state Governor Ron DeSantis signed an executive order designating the CAIR as a foreign terrorist organization for its alleged links to Hamas. He is the second Republican governor to do so in recent times. At the same time, the Muslim Brotherhood has also been included in the list.
\nDespite the state government providing this terrorist funding, the US federal government has not designated CARE or the Muslim Brotherhood as a ‘foreign terrorist organization’. The order has ordered various Florida companies not to provide any contracts, jobs or funding to these organizations or individuals who cooperate with them.
\nHowever, the company has announced legal action against the decision. They claim that this decision was made based on completely baseless allegations. Last month, Texas also designated the CAIR as a terrorist organization.
\nThe Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), founded in 1994, has 25 branches across the United States. Last month, Texas Governor Greg Abbott declared the organization a terrorist organization, prompting the group to file a lawsuit in federal court, arguing that the designation is “unconstitutional” and has no legal basis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
