Pakistan is gripped by rumors that former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is dead. Although the rumors are intensifying day by day, the current government of the country and the Adiala Jail authorities in Rawalpindi are not looking for him. Moreover, no family member has been able to meet him for a long time. In such a situation, his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has called for a protest in Rawalpindi demanding to find Imran. To prevent their protests, the local administration has imposed Section 144 there and banned all kinds of meetings. Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Hasan Waqar Cheema has announced that Section 144 will be imposed from December 1 to 3. Under this –
\n1. Any kind of meeting, rally, procession, protest, public meeting and any similar gathering of five or more people will be prohibited.
\n2. No weapons, spears, heavy sticks, slingshots, ball-bearings, petrol bombs, home-made explosives or any other implements that can be used in violence may be carried.
\n3. No weapons may be displayed (except those carried by law enforcement agencies) and no offensive or hateful speech may be made.
\n4. No attempt shall be made to remove any restrictions imposed by the police to control the assembly of people or the movement of vehicles.
\n5. No rider shall be taken on the back of a motorcycle.
\n6. No microphone or loudspeaker shall be used.<\/p>\n
