BNP has postponed the previously announced \u2018Vijay Mashal Road Show\u2019 program due to the illness of party chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. The party\u2019s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi gave this information at an emergency press conference in Nayapaltan on Sunday (November 30).
\nHe said, \u2018The latest I heard today is that there has been no change in the chairperson\u2019s physical condition. I heard from her doctors that there has been no deterioration (in her physical condition), but we have not received any news that it has improved much. Moreover, the medical board has not yet advised her to go abroad.\u2019
\nRizvi hoped that Khaleda Zia would recover soon. He urged party leaders and activists, including the public, to pray for her recovery. As part of the Victory Day celebrations, Rizvi announced that the party\u2019s 15-day program would be postponed. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, \u2018The Bijay Mashal program during Vijaya month has been postponed.
