President Donald Trump’s administration has announced a decision to suspend all asylum applications in the United States after the shooting of National Guard members in Washington, D.C. A top immigration official gave this information.
\nJoseph Adlow, director of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), said in a post on social media on Friday (November 28) that all asylum applications will be suspended until every foreign national (who seeks asylum in the United States) has been vetted at the highest level.
\nAccording to CBS, USCIS officials have been instructed not to make any decisions on asylum applications. This will apply to citizens of all countries of the world. However, they can continue to review applications. Officials have only been asked to refrain from making decisions. Earlier, President Donald Trump announced a ban on immigrants from all third world countries. Although he did not mention any specific countries.
