A woman named Parveena Khatun (45) was killed after being hit by a passenger bus in Alukdia, Chuadanga. Two others were seriously injured. The tragic accident took place at around 2 pm today (November 23) in the Alukdia Bazar area of \u200b\u200bthe Chuadanga-Meherpur road. The deceased Parveena Khatun is the wife of the deceased Raju Hossain of Alukdia Monirampur village.
\nPolice and witnesses said that Parveena Khatun was returning home in a van after buying groceries. When she reached Alukdia Bazar, a passenger bus named Allah Dan coming from behind lost control and hit the van. Parveena Khatun died on the spot. Another person, including the van driver, was seriously injured. They were later rescued and sent to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital.
\nChuadanga Fire Service Warehouse Inspector Khalid Hossain said that after receiving the information, they quickly went to the spot, rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital.
