The foundation stone of \u201cCharity Hospital, Musafirkhana and Langarkhana\u201d has been laid at Hazrat Shah Makhdum Ruposh (Rah.) Dargah.
\nThe function was presided over by the Chairman of the Dargah Estate Management Committee (ex-officio) and Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi, Afia Akhtar. The function was attended by the Chief Guest, DIG of Rajshahi Range, Mohammad Shahjahan, and the Special Guest, Trustee Member of Dargah Estate and Founder of The Makhdum Foundation, Dr. Suraet Rahman Raktim Ashrafi. Mohd. Sabur Ali, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Rajshahi, was present on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi, Afia Akhtar.<\/p>\n

\nChief guest Mohammad Shahjahan said, \u201cFor the past 15 years, The Makhdum Foundation has been conducting various charitable and social activities centered on the Dargah. The foundation has played a commendable role in numerous humanitarian activities including free medical services, cataract operations for the helpless, scholarships for poor students, and food distribution at Langarkhana during Covid.\u201d He further said that this new project will be implemented in collaboration with the district administration and Dargah Trustee Board to further accelerate religious and social activities centered on the Dargah.<\/p>\n
